Title- Blue is for NightmaresAuthor- Laurie faria StolarzPublisher- Llewellyn PublicationsPages- 283
Summary: Blue is for Nightmares is about a girl named Stacey who goes to a boarding school. She has nightmares about her roommate Drea. From Stacey's past, her nightmares are known for coming true. A man is stocking Drea and Stacey is determined to protect her. She uses her folk magic, taught to her by her grandmother, to make her nightmares more clear. She wants to find who this stocker is and put an end to the danger threatening Drea.
Audience: I believe the audience could be people who enjoy a good mystery and thriller because this book makes your heart beat.
Style: The author is very descriptive in her writing. She keeps the reader at the end of their seats and thirsty to know what will happen next. Example: " But her eyes aren't even focused on the package. They're focused on the salmon-pink words that are sprawled across the mirror. Somone wrote them using the lipstick she placed to her lips only minutes ago: I'M WATCHING YOU, DREA."
3 Passages: "You're beautiful." I looked at him expecting to hear the butt of the joke. But instead he slipped his hand down my arm and cradled my fingers. - I can picture the flirting going on between Chad and Stacey.
"Hi, Stacey. I got your message. I hope I'm not calling too late." It's my mother. I sink back into the comfort of my covers, just hearing her voice, a little piece of home. " No mom," I say. "This is a perfect time." - I can relate to her that sometimes just hearing a mother's voice can comfort someone after a long, stressful day.
"Drea and I en up staying up, doing something we haven't done in a very long time: acting normal. We paint our toenails watermelon pink, give each other banana facials, and yogurt-condition each other's hairs." - After all the stressful things going on in their lives, they are able to come together and put aside the negativity for a little bit and just be girls.
Interaction to book: I interacted with this book a lot. I am one for a good thriller. Sometimes you have to deal with what life throws at you, but ou have friends there to help you along the way. My heart raced during some parts because I could feel how scared they were or how they were feeling.

I read this book my freshman year and I really liked it. I liked the mystery to it and not having any idea to who the stocker is until the very end. It's a series and I got my sister into the series. I've personally only read one of the books but she want's to read the others. It was good and I'd recommend it to other girls who like witchcraft and mystery.

This seems like a book that I would enjoy reading. I like mystery things and trying to figure things out. It's interesting that her dreams come true and she can sort of see the future from them. It looks like it would always leave me wondering. I like books that make me want to find out what happends next.

This book seems really interesting. I think mystery books are really fun to read since your always trying to figure things out and you have to think more. I would be so scared if my dreams came true because i always have really weird dreams or scary ones that i would not want to become reality. I want to read this book I think that I would like this a lot!- Samantha Holt
