Summary: Bella swan and Edward Cullen are only a few weeks from their graduation, and all they can think of is Bella wanting to be a vampire. Though Edward urges that she must marry him for him to turn her. Though she says she will marry him when she is 18 and graduated. As much as Bella wants to be with Edward forever she knows she will miss what she will leave behind. She will lose her father, the life she had, and she will Jake, who confessed his love for her. She questions whether her actions are right but doesn't doubt her intense love for Edward.

A surprising villain returns, Victoria, who wants Bella dead so that Edward can feel the pain she was in when he killed James. Victoria is the leader of a pack of newborn vampires, which sets out to kill Bella. The Cullen’s realize this threat is too strong for just them and team up with the werewolves to solve the issue and save Bella.

Audience: I think this book is more of a book for teen girls due to its romance throughout the novel. Though the book is said to be romance, Meyers bring a lot of action and content suitable for a male reader. Overall this book is great for anyone who enjoys action and a juicy triangle of love.

Style: I love Stephanie Meyer's style of writing. The writing is very fluent and exciting. The words she uses are very appropriate for the age group of her audience. Her style is very captivating because it’s easy to understand and is written in the way of a teenager.

Quotes:

"I am the only one that has to get old? I get older every stinking day! What kind of world is this? Where's the justice?"
I found this quote funny because everyone wants to be older and get treated older and she's complaining that she is getting older. SO I just find this funny and ironic.

" Listen to your heart fly. It's fluttering like a humming birds wings." I love this quote because it is extremely cute how Edward says this to Bella. I love the comparison of a heartbeat to a bird.

I really loved this novel because of its face paced style and story line. In twilight and new moon you know that Edward and Bella will be together in the end of the novel, but in Eclipse it’s a mystery. You don't know if they will be together because Bella falls for Jake. SO this novel keeps you on your toes and anticipating what is going to happen next. I also love how there is more drama in the romance and in the fighting.
