Review:
I thought the book was good. It takes a little while to get into it, but once you keep reading, it’s hard to put down. Out of all the Sarah Dessen books I’ve read, this one is my favorite.

Quote:
“When he hit me, I didn't see it coming, it was just a quick blur, a flash out of the corner of my eye, and then the side of my face just exploded, burning, as his hands slammed against me.”

I chose this quote because it’s what turns the entire story around. No one expects this to happen, but it does and that’s what keeps the readers interested.

  2. The beginning of this sounds similar to the beginning of Lock and Key which is also one of Sarah Dessen's books. I think I might read this book for next semesters outside reading. I like her style of writing.
