Summary:
And Then There Were None is about ten people that get invited to a remote island. They all think that they are going there for a reason. For example, a woman thinks she's been hired as a secretary and some think they're visiting old friends. But none of them know each other nor do they know the person that invited them there. The first night there, they are all accused of committing a murder in the past. Then, one by one, everyone starts to die. After the second murder, they want to leave the island, but the boat never shows up. The guests soon realize that the murders are congruent with the nursery rhyme, Ten Little Indians. When there are only two people left, a woman named Vera and a man named Lombard, Vera is convinced that the murder is Lombard. So she shoots him. When she returns to her room, she finds a noose hanging. She recites the last line of the poem in her head. "One little Indian boy left all alone; He went and hanged himself and then there were none." Then she hanged herself. The murderer ends up being one of the men on the island. Who explains that he wanted to punish those who needed to be punished, but weren't.
Review:
I Loved this book. I usually don't like reading, but this book was very entertaining. I'll probably read it again because I liked it so much. I would recommend it to anyone. I think everyone should read it.
Quote:
"She didn't want to die.
She couldn't imagine wanting to die...
Death was for- the other people."
This quote made me think. I don't know why. It just stuck to me.

this book seems interesting. the killer seems crazy but i would probably enjoy reading this. the quote seems interesting because it says death was for- the other people. what other people do they mean? im sure nobody wants to die. especially the way these people probably died.
