Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

Summary:
Twilight is about Bella, a girl who moves from Arizona with her mom to Forks, Washington with her dad. It never stops raining in Forks, and Bella thinks she's going to be miserable. Bella ends up making friends though, and gets wrapped up in Edward Cullen and his family. She finds out that Edward and his family are vampires, but Bells decides to not let that impact their relationship. During a game of vampire baseball a tracker sets his eyes on Bella and that immediately puts her life in danger. The tracker ends up tricking her into going back to Arizona and into her old dance studio, where he attacks her. The question is if getting involved with the Cullens was the worst decision Bella could make.

Review:
I think Twilight was a very good book. It held my interest throughout the entire book. It had a lot of action throughout the book and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to read.

Quote:
"I’ve never tried to keep a specific person alive before, and it’s much more troublesome than I would have believed. But that’s probably just because it’s you. Ordinary people seem to make it through the day without so many catastrophes." pg 174 I chose this quote because it shows how much Edward cares about her and also how Bella really is clumsy.

Summary:
The Story Takes place in Forks, Washington where a teenager named Bella moves with her Sheriff dad. Bella is from sunny Arizona so coming to rainy Forks was the mos miserable thing ever. Until Bella starts to make friends and a new romance sparks. Bella falls for the mysterious Edward Cullen, who turns out to be more that just the good looking teenager he seems. Instead he turns out to be A vicious Vampire but a rare good kind. Though aside from that Bella doesn't care and their love grows deeper for each other. Which leads Bella to a ton of trouble when a vampire with tracking skills sets out to kill her. The story is filled with romance, suspense, and blood thirsty vampires.

Review:
I think this novel is great and impressive. It keeps your attention and makes you wanting more. I love how it makes the characters feel real and alive, like they could jump of the page.

Quote:
"And so the lion fell in love with the lamb"I really like this quote because it just describes Bella and Edwards relationship perfectly. It tells how no mater what the other is they still love each other.

Summary:
The story takes place in Forks,Washington where we meet the main character, Bella Swan. Bella is a high school student that has moved to Forks to live with her dad. Bella finds life ion Forks to be very boring until she comes face to face with a boy by the name of Edward Cullen. Bella finds Edward to be a strange person and is intrigued by him. Despite a horrible first impression, Bella and Edward grow extremely close throughout the course of the book. Eventually Edward unveils himself as a vampire to Bella. This does not change their love for each other as they continue to grow closer and closer. One day when they are together, they are approached by an evil group of vampires who seek to kill. Edward does everything he can to protect Bella, but she is eventually captured by the evil vampire. Can Edward come to Bella's rescue before its too late?

Review:
I would describe this story as being good but not great. There were a few flaws in the writing. Most notably that there were many scenes that were dragged out for way too long. The whole middle of the story where the characters are falling in love seems to take forever and gets extremely monotonous. I read this book because I heard people comparing it to harry Potter, but I must say that it didn't stack up for me.

Quote:
'I'd never given much though to how I would die. But dying in place of someone I love, seems like a good way to go. I can't bring myself to regret the decisions that brought me face to face with death. They also brought me to Edward." This quote shows the way Bella feels towards Edward.. Even the risk of death isnt enough to separate her from him.

Summary:
Twilight is the first book of the Twilight series. It is about a girl named Bella Swan, she just moves to a small town to live with her father. Bella doesn't like being the new kid and thinks she will have a hard time but it is such a small place everyone already knows her and she has no trouble fitting in. There is one family in the town that seems to prefect, everything about them is beautiful. After one of the boys from the family, Edward Cullen, saves Bella's life it reveals to her that he is something extraordinary. After doing research and talking to a friend Bella came to the conclusion of what Edward really was. She and Edward were both drawn to each other in a way that seemed unreal they loved each other. The rest of the book is about all the dangers that come with dating a vampire and unlucky Bella is but Edward is always there to save her.

Review:
I thought this book was very good. Even if you don't think you will like the whole vampire thing it is a very well written novel and the story, even aside from the mythical characters, is very good. If you saw the Twilight movie, well the book is even better.

Quote:
"And so the lion fell in love with the lamb." I chose this quote because it was a line that Edward was speaking to Bella. I thought it was a good analogy of how a lamb is a lions prey and humans are supposed to be a vampires prey but they managed to fight against their odds and fall in love.

Summary:
The book takes place in a small town named Forks. The main character Bella moves there from Arizona to stay with her father. Bella thinks that life in the small rainy town will be horrible but her opinion on the town changes when she meets the Cullens. The Cullen Family consists of five teenagers Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, Alice, and Edward who keep to themselves and only socialize with each other. The Cullens are not the normal typical family they are actually vampires. When Bella and Edward fall in love there are many complications since she is a human. This book is filled with action and romance.

Review:
I loved this book, I think the way the author Stephenie Meyer described the love between Bella and Edward was so unique and very descriptive. I could not put down the book. I think Twilight is a good book for anyone it has action and romance and I think teenagers and young adults would really enjoy reading it. I can’t wait to read the whole series. I recommended this book to all my friends its great.

Quote:
“ Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of someone I loved.” I picked this quote because Bella loves Edward so much that she would die for him. I think that it is so cute how you could love someone so much that you would die for them. I also think that it is a good way to die because its Nobel and heroic. This quote describes how strong Edward’s and Bella’s love for each other is.

  4. This is such a cute book. I really loved it, and rest of the series. I didn't think I'd like them because the vampire thing didn't really do much for me and it seemed like it'd be a little cheesy, but they are really good books. This book is probably for anyone, because from who I've talked to, anyone who reads it loves it.

  6. HEATHER POTTER- I really enjoyed this book too, it holds the readers attention with the action. The quote really portrays the love greatly. Edward always had such a care for Bella it almost hurt him when she was hurt. He was always watching her to make sure nothing would ever harm her.

  7. Im in the middle of this book and i love it! The first one wants to make me read the entire series. The drama and action that occurs helps make the book very strong. When people were talking about it i didn't have any interest just because it was about a vampire and didn't seem like my kind of book, but once i read the first chapter i was hooked... SHY WALTER!

  11. I read this book in 8th grade and I absolutely loved it. All of the other book in the series were awesome as well. I know most people who haven't heard of it before think of it as being strange because of the whole vampire thing, but I'm pretty sure everybody who loves this book doesn't love it just because there are vampires. There's so much more to the story. And I really liked the lion fell in love with lamb quote because it fits the story perfectly.

I found your quote to be very interesting as it incorporated a very dynamic theme of the book, which was the importance of companionship and togetherness through the toughest times. From your review this book seems like it would be very good. I also found that the summary gave a great deal of detail and allowed me to learn a lot about the story of Twilight. This book looks a very good read and seems to have a very unique story.
